I was overly excited to attend the Fabulous Food Show at the I-X Center this past weekend! I was granted media credentials which made me feel extremely important and anxious to head into the event.
We honestly didn't know just where to head first, we decided we should purchase a few tickets for the food trucks, the International wine pavilion, beer pavilion, and spirits lounge.
The Orange Truk has some truly delicious cuisine the Lobster and Blue Crab balls were an amazing delectable treat..I wanted a bite of my husband's and when I turned around, the Blue Crab ball was GONE.. I can't remember exactly how many times we returned back to The Orange Truk, but it was worth every single savory bite!
The Manna Truck was a delicious addition to my Fabulous Food Show quest. I enjoyed the amazing lobster slider and Mr. Parks enjoyed the pulled pork slider.. Once again, I missed out on my chance to steal a quick taste of the pulled pork slider.. It was gone in record time!
I met Jonathon and he was so nice and informative, we talked and laughed and enjoyed ourselves at The Manna Truck. Very cool people indeed.
The Manna Truck has a great mission that they are extremely proud of and stand behind. Read it here!
Barrio tacos provided us with the most enjoyable tacos, I don't know if I can even explain to you how incredible they tasted, I think we returned a total of 3 times, and I am not ashamed.. I will have one of each please!
Can you see these tacos?
How 'bout now?
Ok... What about NOW?!
I was literally speechless and wasn't sure which one I liked better..The chicken, portobello or pork. So..So.. Good..
How Good? Eye-roll back good..
Mmm..Hmm..Oh yeah..
Just guess what was next? Another one of my favorite things.. The Wine Pavilion!
How could I not be excited when the display was this captivating..
What was this thought-provoking drink you ask? Well Viniq of course! You shake it to make it shimmer..
And it actually does just that. This Vodka Liqueur was worth every bit of it's shimmering inspiration.
Yuengling -America's oldest brewery has a few contests going on, I searched for the Instagram contest after the show, but couldn't find where to enter.. Now you know how I love a good contest! You can enter to win this awesome Yuengling tailgate trailer for your own personal use. Yay!
Did you say beer garden? Don't mind if we do!
Tickets galore..
Mr. Parks enjoying his brew.
Mrs. Parks enjoying her Moscato.
Did I tell you how much I was enjoying this Moscato?
This Elio Perrone was simply exquisite. it was the sweetest wine available at the event, and my very favorite!
We headed back for some mouthwatering eats to absorb some of our beer/wine pavilion visit.
I wanted to see what the Streat Mobile Bistro & Production Catering was all about. You know when the movies are produced right here in our beautiful city of Cleveland, Ohio? Yep! They do that..Notice they label themselves as a "production" catering establishment. I spoke with Izzy (Chief Chaos Fixer) per his business card, and decided on the jerk chicken slider..
My oh my.. This sure does look marvelous!
And it was.. every single bite.. Thanks Izzy! Hope to see you on the next movie set.. forgot to give him my card!
I thought the artistry at this booth was simply amazing..
There were many celebrity chef cooking shows/demonstrations taking place during the event, but we were too excited to stop for very long.
We tried some of the Sauteed True North Salmon..it was so fresh and extremely tasty.
One more truck! I'm not even sure what Mr. Parks was so excited to devour.
Grassfed Cheese allowed me to sit on their "cow"ch to rest my feet for awhile.
Nothing like some media swag.. Thanks you so much! lots of goodies in here!
Can't wait to try the:
- Pope's original recipe BBQ Sauce
- Grinder's signature hot sauces
- Baklava from Sweets from the heart
- White Knot Designs-custom made coaster for wine glasses
- Le Creuset Measure Magnet
WE WILL RETURN NEXT YEAR WITHOUT A DOUBT!
*I was given a media pass/guest pass and two tickets to give away on my blog in return for promoting this event. All opinions here are my own.
