Stop Hounding me! I promise, when I get to 50 followers on GFC I'll have a giveaway!

I kid..I kid.. about the hounding, but NOT about the giveaway! 5 more followers and be ready..
I was just having some fun and wanted to display my partial look for the day. I say partial, because  I only snapped a quick pic of my hounds-tooth Eddie Bauer Wool dress pants(from the ankle down) [thrifted $1.50] and my adorable Franco Sarto hounds-tooth flats with patent leather accents, cute huh?
Have a great rest of your Thursday!

Sparkle*Shimmer & Shine Black Tie Event for a great cause!!

Mr. Parks and I were lucky enough to attend the Sparkle, Shimmer & Shine Gala last evening. This was a special celebration and Tribute benefiting the Achievement Centers for Children. Christopher M. Connor,  Chairman and CEO of my company, was being honored at this event for his generous and significant support of the Achievement Centers, and for his meaningful involvement in and dedication to Northeast Ohio's non-profit community. Chris has been so active in this program and it was heart warming to see the slide show with him visiting Camp Cheerful, and having a wonderful time interacting with the disabled  children and adults that participate.

This tremendous event was held at the InterContinental Hotel & Conference Center in Cleveland, Ohio.

The Intercontinental is a luxurious and posh hotel that is attached to the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and is just miles away from:The Cleveland Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, The Great Lakes Science Center, Playhouse Square, and University Circle.

Mr. Parks and I started the night off right and attended the Cocktail & Hors d'oeuvres hour, inclusive of the Silent Auction, Big Board Auction and several fantastic raffles.

Here I am with my co-worker and friend Melody and her husband. We were enjoying a Cosmotini, they were delicious!

The dinner was excellent, I'm not sure why I missed getting a pic of the table. Our entree consisted of Pan Seared Filet of Beef w/Port Reduction Paired with Wild and Exotic Mushroom Ravioli, Mushroom Ragout, Autumn Mashed Sweet Potatoes and seasonal vegetables. Need I say more?

What a great night, I was thrilled to find my gorgeous dress (I.M.Studio Petite) for $15 (originally $75) and my amazing sequin clutch 2 for $5 (It came with a gold clutch as well). I felt like a million bucks!

Take a look at Mr. Parks! We attend several black tie events during the year, and the cost of one rental was actually more expensive than buying the tux and having it tailored He looked amazing.

The socialites, muah!

Smile Mr. Parks!

Open your eyes Mrs. Parks!

Oh! Much better. You can see the detail that I loved on this dress.

I almost went with a matte silver pump, but opted for black, instead.

The Dapper Mr. Parks.

Great night, great benefit, smiles all around.

Good Night!

Let's have a great start to the week. We will be attending the Compassion From Fashion Event this Saturday @  Beachwood Place. Can't wait!

It's a Saffron, Night out Pic, type of day!

Yesterday was lovely, it was a balmy 78 degrees so I had to change my entire outlook on what I had planned to wear for my night out.
I headed to Taza-A unique little Lebanese restaurant to meet my friend Rachel and chat about the *revamping* of my blog.(boy does it need it)
I went with Saffron, a nice warm gold colored Newport News jacket over a printed strapless top, I felt nothing but confident in this ensemble, can't you tell?
The strapless top is from Charlotte Russe, I love the turquoise and royal blues with flecks of Saffron contributing nicely to the jacket.
Don't forget the shoes! I love these charcoal gray Unlisted stacks, so fun, and just the right color for this stylish getup.
The Newport News jacket, lonely, waiting to brighten the evening with it's sophisticated flair.
Here I am with Rachel, she showed me her portfolio and had brilliant ideas on how I can enhance my blog, she is going to help me, help myself. I can hardly wait!

It's the power of the Bootie kind of day!

I love the new booties!
I am really digging the suede ones!
Where should I look?
I want them to be affordable as I'm always looking for the budget deals. I don't want to spend an arm and a leg for booties. I haven't really been out to look yet, but I am infatuated with them, I want comfort, durability and of course a decent price. Where should I look? Direct me Oh Great Fashionistas/Fashionistos! Have a wonderful weekend, and of course as always.. SHOP *WISELY* MY FRIENDS! LocalCeleb~

It's a...You can buy Target brands as low as $0.99 @ Marc's Discount Stores kind of day!

Who knew you could shop for Target clothing at other discount stores [In N.E. Ohio or Connecticut] that is! This lovely pair of Mossimo yoga pants was $1.99
These amazing black straight-legged Mossimo dress pants were $4.99
These amazing activewear/dryfit/racerback with built in bra tops were $2.99 [I bought 3 in very inviting bold colors/designs]
These stylish Mossimo Light Vintage Wash skinny jeans were $0.99 cents!
These soft durable colorful tees were 2 for $0.99 cents - [I bought 10]
I noticed one day while in Marc's [which is a discount closeout/grocery store] operating approximately 60 stores throughout Northeast Ohio and Connecticut, that the brands I was looking at were Target brands. I then proceeded to visit every Marc's within a 40 mile radius of my house, they all had different discounted Target brand items. I shopped in amazement. I take a trip every two weeks to find out what is new and as these stores are locally owned and opererated in N.E. Ohio, I don't share this juicy little tidbit with my friends, unless they read my blog of course! They also carry Target shoes, but not at all Marc's locations. If you're ever in my hood, I will direct you accordingly. Have a lovely day! LocalCeleb~

It's a $5 Holla Kind of Night!

Tonight while lurking in my secret store around the corner.. (the one that's so dirt cheap it makes me giggle..) This Marco NY bright floral stretch belted tunic caught my eye.. Perhaps it was the vibrant red orange and purple floral print, or the tie belt that made me swoon but there it was.. that little white tag that said $5.... sold!
I know fall is here, but I'm thinking some cute cropped jeans and some really fly shoes that pop can set this off.. What are your thoughts? What would you pair with this adorable top?
P.S. I bumped into a lady in the store that said my store was her *secret* place to shop too..but then proceeded to brag about this GoodWill *somewhere* in the area that was AMAZING.. I asked her where it was, and she said she couldn't tell me.. Oh I'll find it lady.. fair trade is fair trade.. Have a lovely night darlings! See you tomorrow- LocalCeleb-
